Hydrocarbon Cleaning

Hydrocarbons represent a valid alternative to chlorinated halogenated solvents such as Perc because they provide excellent results on stains and fabrics that cannot be washed in water while offering good compatibility with the environment and low operating costs. Although hydrocarbons are usually inflammable (most have a flashpoint of 55°C) no particular protection measures are required since they are used in machines purpose-built for these solvents. Their solvent and washing power can be notably increased however if used in combination with specifically formulated detergents.
