Eton, Sweden
Eton Systems was founded in 1967 as an offshoot of Eton Fashions, a Swedish manufacturer making shirts since 1928, under the name Skjortfabriken Specia. This led to the development of Eton Systems – the world’s first Unit Production system ( UPS). Today there are more than 4000 Eton installations in more than 60 countries and in different production areas, including Apparel, Home Textiles, Furniture and Automotive industries. The company is headquartered in Gånghester, a small town outside Borås, where everything started.
